Welcome to Harbour View Cottage, self-catering accommodation. As the name suggests, this property overlooks the stunning harbour of Schull, a town located on the Mizen Peninsula, the most southernly tip in Ireland.
Situated on Mount Gabriel, the highest peak on the Peninsula (407m high), there is a panoramic view of the countryside for miles around and to the many islands popularly known as Carbery’s Islands. Whether you're looking to rent for a family holiday, romantic getaway, artist retreat, or if you're a golfing or sailing enthusiast, Harbour View will offer you a truly memorable experience.

- Fully fitted kitchen with gas hobs and electric oven;
- 4 Bedrooms: 2 rooms with double beds and 2 rooms with two single beds;
- Upstairs and downstairs toilets with a shower and bath respectively, plus an en-suite toilet and shower in the downstairs master bed;
- Spacious living room with television and DVD player;
- Ample parking space;
- Breathtaking views of Schull harbour, especially at dusk.
Harbour View offers a great getaway for all the family. Walks and Hiking
There are many beautiful walking routes around Schull. Harbour View Schull is situated on Mount Gabriel which has a narrow road leading to its summit. At the top of Mount Gabriel there is a panoramic view over Schull harbour and neighbouring towns and villages. Bring your telescope or binoculars because on a clear day it's possible to see over to the Beara Peninsula and the Caha Mountains.
Whale Watching
The Irish government declared the coastal waters of Ireland a whale and dolphin sanctuary during the early 1990's. Coastal waters off the southwest of Ireland are a summer feeding ground for a number of whale species and all year round for certain species of dolphin. -
