About us

Hells Gate Geothermal Park is set in 50 acres with a large variety of thermal features. You will see remarkable formations and colours, cascading hot water and unearthly vistas, even examples of “land coral”.

No need to heed the warning signs, you will want to hug the path!!

Hells Gate contains unique geothermal muds and waters which are renowned for their curative and invigorating properties- and visitors are given the opportunity to bathe in our Mud Bath and Spa facilities, as our local Maori people have done for more than 700 years.

Spa treatments such as traditional Miri Miri Massage (Maori massage techniques) and Facials are also available in our facilities.
