Todays picture is the Beautiful Papilo Ulysses Butterfly which is also our Island logo. This Butterfly species inhabbits the island and other rainforest areas of Far North Queensland. It is one of Australia's Biggest Butterflies. The Ulysses Butterfly has no lungs, instead it has holes on each side of its body to breath through. Its blood is green, not red like ours and it uses its feet for tasting and antennas for smelling. It truely is a beautiful creature... Thank you for the picture Kevin Ma more
