We stayed in this hotel for a weekend break in March. The room was absolutely lovely with a king size or may be even a superking sized bed. We booked last minute and it was the weekend of a rugby international so having a room with a view of the backs of other rooms did not bother us at all especially since the hotel is in the middle of the city. We have alway's eaten at The Tearooms everytime we are in Dublin, and have never had a bad experience. It is the service at this hotel that make's us return, the staff are alway's so wonderful and this is a brilliant hotel to explore Dublin. Yes it is in The Temple Bar area, but we have never had a problem with noise and the last time we stayed we were upgraded to a suite overlooking the River. I just wanted to drop you a note to say an enormous thank you to you and all the staff on Saturday night. I had the best night and couldn't have been looked after better!
It all went without a hitch, my friends had a fab night and I cannot fault one little thing. My folks were do grateful to be looked after with the valet parking, it made their night.
Please pass my thanks to all and know I will be back, mind you I need to ease off the Flirtini's!!!!!

At the end of May, my beau Werner and I traveled to Berlin to spend 4 days over my Birthday week-end. Being huge U2 fans, we chose to stay at the Clarence. We had booked a suite, but when we arrived we were upgraded to a Penthouse Suite overlooking the Liffey River with a huge terrace, living room with fireplace (not needed), dining room and huge master bedroom. I wanted to write you and tell you about my experience in your hotel and with some of your staff.
I stayed at The Clarence on Sunday, September 11th of this year for one night. I had been staying all week at The Ritz-Carlton Powerscourt in Enniskerry (I booked a package deal through Travelzoo.com that is why I did not stay at The Clarence the whole time) and was scheduled to check out on Monday the 12th.
